How We Use AI
TPOCo uses AI as a cooperative tool to support writing, structuring, and illustrating complex scientific ideas. All AI‑generated content on this site is human‑supervised AI content. AI assists with drafting and visualisation, but nothing is published automatically. Every page is reviewed, edited, and approved by a human.
Human Dignity is our anchor. AI strengthens cooperation only when aligned with human purpose, fairness, and dignity. This principle guides our supervision, our safety measures, and our voluntary alignment with relevant parts of the EU AI Act, even though we publish from Australia and are not legally required to follow EU law. We adopt these standards because they support clarity, trust, and scientific integrity.
Our Safety Measures (ISO 704 Framework)
My background as a surveyor informs our safety approach. In surveying, system errors are subtle, cumulative, and often difficult to detect. Metrology, redundancy, and verification loops are essential. We apply the same principles to AI. Our ISO 704 Universal Cooperative System Architecture describes how we use structured definitions, verification loops, and metrology‑based checks to minimise hallucination, prevent category drift, and maintain conceptual accuracy.
Image Transparency
We label AI‑generated images when they depict realistic humans or realistic scenes that could be mistaken for real photographs. Conceptual diagrams, symbolic illustrations, and abstract cooperative‑system graphics are not labeled. This aligns with the AI transparency expectations emerging globally and with the EU’s approach to preventing misleading synthetic media.
Why This Matters
AI is not trained on TPOCo and cannot generate our system architecture. Calling our work “AI slop” would be a strawman fallacy — it misrepresents a supervised, architecture‑driven scientific project as generic AI output. We left em‑dashes in this text deliberately, even though many consider this an AI‑slop indicator.
We invite readers to explore our content directly and evaluate it by its structure, clarity, and scientific coherence.
